Meet David
Hi! I'm David Alba, a graphic designer for film and TV and illustrator for fun.
My relationship with design didn’t start in an agency — it started with drawings. I didn’t know it was “design” at the time. I just liked making things that looked like they belonged somewhere.

I studied Advertising (big mistake), illustrated whenever I could, and eventually found myself in the strange and brilliant world of film and television.

Since 2019, I’ve been lucky enough to work with teams across Spain, the UK — and even Colombia — mostly in film and TV, where I design all kinds of graphic pieces: from fake passports and ancient tarot cards to period carpets, love letters, and everything in between.

My work has appeared in productions like Culprits, A Gentleman in Moscow, and a few others where everything has to look like it’s been there forever — even if it was printed yesterday. Outside of film, I take on projects for the so-called “real world”: book covers, theatre posters, visual identities, and the occasional wedding invitation.

And sometimes, I just draw — simply because it makes me happy.

I’m based between London and Madrid, I work well under pressure (and panic), and I take great pride in making fictional things feel real.

If you’ve got a project, a story, or a weird brief that needs bringing to life — Say hi at davidalbamedeiros@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!
